Here’s how Giwaza works:
- Pick a piece of art - any art, anywhere - from an artist, gallery, or other seller of art. Create an account, login, and password. Add the gift details at Initiate Gift. We'll help arrange the details with the seller, and you'll be able to start accumulating gifts almost immediately.
- Invite your friends to contribute toward the gift on Giwaza.com by using our automated e-mail invitations. Giwaza does all the work, from collecting and safekeeping funds to providing a running tally of all contributions and contributors.
- Collect your art. When the purchase price is reached, Giwaza pays the seller, who delivers the artwork. Giwaza provides the recipient with a handsome certificate listing the names of all contributors that can be easily affixed to the back of the artwork so givers can be permanently remembered.
